Notice empty room times? At the convention, ask if you can do a BOF (Birds of a Feather). This is where a group grabs a room - with permission - and runs a roundtable to talk about their own thing. Could be Filk, could be Security in Linux. We don't care as long as its legal. While you're at the convention, ask our Head of Programming, Melissa Owsley, or our Programming Operations, Jeff Beeler, to sign up.

Sun 9:30 to 10:00 AM Petoskey
Coffee Ritual
Matt Arnold, Christine Bender, Joe Bender, Rachel Sherman
Pre-stale tinned grounds of mostly robusta would no sooner be tolerated than Lady Sarah would tolerate carab in that other ritual. Other kinds of brewing are acceptable in coffee's sight, but the holy of holies is the most theatrical brewing process ever devised. Distilled chilled water, clean equipment, and liquid cream instead of "That-Blasphemy-Which-Shall-Not-Be-Named." Could anything less be called coffee worship? Disclaimer: Monty Pythonish High Church. If you can't stand the parody, stay out of the ritual.
